Associate Agent

The Affordable Housing Group is looking for driven individuals to join its expanding team as an Associate Agent. This is an opportunity for coachable individuals with a strong work ethic and desire to excel in a sales position to work in a field with unlimited income potential and a collaborative team environment. Working under a senior agent, the Associate Agent will learn how to prospect and develop a book of business in a challenging industry niche.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilites

• Prospecting by cold calling and using an array of electronic resources to find new leads
• Research new leads to uncover, identify, and connect with key decision makers
• Work with the marketing and analytics team to develop custom proposals
• Attend client meetings and proposals
• List and market affordable multifamily properties
• Develop relationships with key decision makers

Required Skills, Education, & Experience

• Salesperson/Broker licenses preferred but not required
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred but not required
• Highly self-motivated team player who is willing to “go the extra mile”
• Sales experience is preferred but not required
• Critical thinker, detail oriented, skilled in performing research
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface well with an array of clientele
• Strong work ethic and desire to excel

Compensation

Traditionally this is a commission only position that provides unlimited income potential. However, there is the opportunity to negotiate an alternative compensation structure on a case by case basis.
